Dear Parents/Carers,

It is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you to Stanwell School. We hope that the prospectus and school website will provide you with some insight into life at the school. We are hugely proud of our students who flourish not only academically but as confident young people who are able to develop resilience and lead fulfilling lives. Our mission statement is ‘Learning to Excel’ and this is the vision for every child, whatever their starting points, interests or talents. Stanwell believes in every young person’s potential to succeed and all of our energies go into ensuring that this potential is fulfilled in a disciplined and caring environment.  This is reflected in our focus on promoting respect, kindness and effort and the professional development of our talented staff.  Our commitment to securing excellence is built upon a reflective approach to teaching and learning, a strong emphasis on pastoral care and support and a rich and broad range of extra-curricular opportunities that span the arts, music, drama and sport.
