Rosslyn Park Rugby 7s

This March marked our 5th visit to the Rosslyn Park Rugby 7's tournament in London.

Year 8, 9 and 11 enjoyed 3 fantastic trips across the week, playing some outstanding rugby 7's. We finished with our best ever overall winning ratio, winning 11 games out of 14, between the 3 age groups.

Year 8 managed to win all 5 of their games - a feat that has never been achieved by a Stanwell team before!

Year 9 won all 3 of their group games which meant they qualified for the plate competition on day 2, winning 1 game and losing 1.

Year 11 won 2 of their 3 games in a very tough group, making progress with each game they played.

As you can see from the attached pictures, the rugby wasn't the only focus! Our talented teams enjoyed the social aspect that rugby has to offer too!

We are already looking forward to the 2024 tournament and hopefully some drier weather!!
