Siarter laith Silver Award

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Stanwell School has been awarded the Silver Siarter Award/ Siarter Iaith Arian only two months after being awarded our Bronze/ Efydd Award. This highlights our passion and dedication to the Welsh language and ensuring that Welsh is imbedded into our daily life here in Stanwell and in our local community.  

 

Our Bilingualism Consultants, Saif Ahmad and Olivia Sweeney from Year 10, alongside Mrs Davies and Ms Jenkins, met with the Siarter Iaith CSC Assessors on Thursday 18th May 2023. The progress that we have made in a few short months has been evident and we, as a school and community, are already working towards the Gold Award. Our exciting new initiatives will be shared with our community and we look forward to welcoming the CSC back next year!
