Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s),
I am writing to invite you to our Future Destinations Parents' Evening on Wednesday 5th March, which will provide guidance on Higher Education, Apprenticeship and Careers opportunities for when our students leave school. The event will run from 15:15 - 17:45.
We expect all of our students to attend and would very much like for you to be present too so that you have an opportunity to explore your child's post-18 options with them.
We will have a wide variety of universities present, as well as apprenticeship and degree-apprenticeship providers. We have asked for them to provide talks on the following themes:
-Why go to university?
-Applying for your first apprenticeship
-Studying Medicine
-Healthcare (non-medicine)
-Applying to a conservatoire
-Applying to Oxford and Cambridge
-Russell Group vs. Alliance Group Universities
-Applying to University with Additional Learning Needs
-Degree Apprenticeships
I will also be providing guidance on the UCAS application process at Stanwell and how to ace the personal statement.
To reserve your place at this event, please complete the google form below:
