Wellbeing at Stanwell School
Meeting the pastoral needs of our pupils is crucial if they are going to succeed in education. When pupils join Stanwell School they are assigned two Year Tutors (Heads of Year) who oversee the academic, social and pastoral aspects of school life.

Our vision at Stanwell is that all our pupils are happy, healthy, confident learners who feel safe and secure in school. We have a dedicated pastoral team who are fully committed in supporting our pupils fulfil their upmost potential.
The initial point of contact are your child's Year Tutors. They make referrals to other staff in the pastoral or ALN team or to the many outside agencies linked to school.
Deputy Headteacher, Miss S Owen leads the team and she is the designated member of staff for Child Protection at Stanwell. If you would like to report or discuss any concern you have regarding child protection, please contact Miss S Owen (Deputy Headteacher) or deputy Child Protection Officer, Mrs R Connor (Senior Assistant Headteacher) & Mr C Ashton (Head of KS3) at school or contact through the worry button on our site
